## THE ORD. Execution #1. #### 25 September 2023 This review of our genesis is strict and frank, taking stock of the mistakes we've made and trying to turn what could be a crisis into an opportunity. The last few months have not been all plain sailing, and it's clear that the directions we set out on are no longer valid. ### 1. They are no longer valid in terms of our initial promise**. I don't think there's any blame to be laid here, but rather that we've made the most of each of our weaknesses. THEORD was born out of a meeting of minds, and it's fortunate that the diversity of our profiles has brought us to a point where we can admit what we thought yesterday was just an intuition. - Without M3rl1n: we wouldn't have had the energy that enabled us to emerge. - Without Grug: we wouldn't have had the opportunity to initiate this effort, we wouldn't have forged the first links. - Without Arch1m3d3z: we wouldn't have had any support, we wouldn't have been able to put our minds at rest for a while on the financing aspects. - Without myself: we wouldn't have had the means to validate some of our hypotheses or brought sufficient imagination to bear. - Wolf, it's now clear that you're working for strictly personal ends, and beyond that you're not acting in the interests of a project you've decided not to understand. What's more - and we're critical because your attitude over the last few weeks could have dealt a fatal blow to our ambitions and even our security - we don't understand your game and we don't understand the strategy you've developed in a voting booth. The first day of autumn will have been the final point in a process that we could call: the emergence of THEORD as a Decentralised Foundation. And from this first act of execution we are making a merciless assessment of our ability to operate. For, although we have been able to generate ideas, our ability to deliver has been made impossible by the single factor of the indefiniteness of our group and the proper application of a cooperative framework. It's a process that will have lasted several months and which is now leading to an implacable reality: **THEORD MUST ASSUME ITS RESPONSIBILITIES AND ITS DUTIES**. This responsibility lies first and foremost with our community. The first circle of those who have sensed a different current and who now see Boss as the possible resolution of a civilisational paradigm. This evangelism doesn't come from nowhere, but from the confidence that M3rl1n had in its ability to unite the ingredients needed to make it a reality. One of these ingredients is Archimedes, who is now in charge of communicating the succession of truths and untruths that we have ceased to deliver over the last few months, in addition to the production phases. This is an intolerable situation. With this responsibility to carry out what was only an intuition, we have to take decisive decisions for the common good, and for the implementation of a solution that will have to be foolproof. In recent weeks many of us have asked for clarification of the needs and missions of the Swiss-based foundation. At this stage we can see: the disappearance of 100 Oshi and the communication of our identities to someone we don't know: no work will have been formulated, and at this stage it's a good thing because we very explicitly refuse to allow this subject to be abandoned. ### 2. The directions initially proposed are no longer valid in view of the importance of our proposal **. From the intuition of having to propose we have realised over the last few weeks that it is possible to achieve our ambitions. This simple fact: **having realised our potential imposes a duty on us: the definition of a framework for cooperation that is as open as possible**, and **implies by definition that the members of the foundation ADMIT AS A FIRST PRINCIPLE their inclusion as full members**. THEORD has fallen victim to a flagrant delay in implementation, given the many promises made in recent months. It is time, nine months after the initial discussions that have led us to see a clear path to success, to redefine our proposal. ### 2.1. Timeline. #### 2.1.0. Pre-ordinals Numerous discussions between M3l1n and Junkfoodpunkroot were held on the potential of exploiting Bitcoin as an information system. Ordinals is seen as a godsend: experimenting with the potential of implementing an information system. #### 2.1.1. OrdinalBoard Born out of M3L1N's desire to experiment with a fun project based around the concept of an index, ORDINALBOARD was made possible by three players coming together: - junkfoodpunkroot: as developer - grug: as first founder through ORDINALDAO - m3l1n: as project communications manager. From our experiments with ORDINALBOARD and seeing the ecosystem develop, we were first convinced of the possibility, then of the necessity of developing a STABLECOIN based on the concept of ordinals. Archimedes joined THEORD as an investor who was seduced at an early stage by m3l1n's vision of implementing the DEFI on Bitcoin through ordinals. #### 2.1.2. THEORD, Oshi Driven to a frenzy by the BRC20 phenomenon, we anticipated certain needs. Observing the lack of proposals from the BRC20 ecosystem in this first period, OSHI found a way to get the community to understand the needs of a meta-protocol and meta-registry concept. The proposal was then poorly formalised between the members of the foundation, which then included another member (C) who had been absent from any activity since mid-July 2023. Oshi was set up with the aim of creating a protocol capable of importing the DEFI into the BRC20 and the bold but realistic final objective of a stablecoin backed by Bitcoin through a mechanism for padding subscriptions placed under reserve by an HTLC mechanism. This stablecoin would see its reserves built up around a foundation directly linked to the company that employs the team behind THEORD. WOLF is associated with this project, enabling us to establish the necessary relationships to make it a reality. The months of May and June 2023 are essentially dedicated to this effort by part of THEORD's team, which, poorly defined, sees itself as an assembly of innovators and administrators capable of raising the initial ambitions high. In parallel with this legal activity, THEORD crystallized around one question: the impossibility of importing the DEFI into Bitcoin without resolving a series of technical issues underlying the scalability of the system we were working on. Resolving these issues required the full mobilisation of our minds to a task deemed impossible by many of our peers, and dealt a clear blow to the promises made by Oshi to innovate, as quickly and as closely as possible to the players who favour imperfect speed of execution over promises that constantly postpone the implementation of a solution. #### 2.1.3. Boss Exploited by Oshi as a means of getting THEORD to solve all its problems, Boss revealed itself as we went along as the cornerstone of a new Internet architecture, upsetting the course initially set by THEORD. From July, when we should have taken advantage of our meeting to clear the air, to the end of September 2023, we were constantly heading in different directions. In this respect, it is clear from this chronology that : #### 2.1.3.1. An initiative such as THEORD, which has demonstrated a unique will by formalising a community in search of principles, over and above the rapid and slapdash execution to which it is accustomed, requires the assent of as many individuals as possible and must be exemplary, transparent as well as courageous and bold. #### 2.1.3.2. Boss's discovery of these new crystallised, but still indistinguishable, principles formulates a hypothesis that we need to describe. #### 2.1.2.3. This hypothesis MARKS THE OFFICIAL EMERGENCE OF THIS ORGANIZATION: THEORD, understood hereafter as the unification of wills capable of building around Boss and its principles all solutions useful to the common good. ### 3. Birth of THEORD Thanking all the individuals involved in the creation of THEORD for their collective efforts, it was decided to break off the stick once and for all and to go beyond an honest description to a precise definition of this organisation with its own projects. ## Actions MUST be completed within 24 hours (from 00:00 26 September 2023). ### 3.1. Ratification and Transfer of Ownership The founding members **M3RL1N, ARCHIMEDES, GRUG, JUNKFOODPUNKROOT** ratify this declaration through their respective portfolios. **M3RL1N** and JUNKFOODPUNKROOT**, involved in the genesis of **ORDINALBOARD**, ratify this constitution by registering their agreement on **MULTISIG** in alignment with the **ORDINALBOARD** project. Ownership of **ORDINALBOARD** is officially transferred to **THEORD**, reciprocated by an allocation of **250 Oshi airdrop tokens** to **ORDINALBOARD** block owners. > Note**: The resolution has materialised, recognising the synergies and efforts of each stakeholder active in **THEORD**, **Oshi**, **Ordinalboard** and **Boss**. --- ### Mandatory redistribution of all free Oshi Tokens: - JUNKFOODPUNKROOT**: 100 - GRUG**: 100 - M3RL1N**: 100 - ARCHIMEDES**: 100 - WOLF**: 25 - **C**: 25 - **S**: 0 Each founding member is required to transfer **100%** of their freely minted **OSHI BRC20 tokens** to the established Multisig address of **TheOrd**: `bc1qvszkznr7ed9drgvd5k0jkw53mgkvwmg6ugdvdq7mej5kdpfvnjeq0055l2`. > Special Note**: **WOLF** retains an honorary designation for his primary involvement and benevolent efforts, pending a precise definition of his duties. --- ### MULTISIG Management This reallocation results in the creation of a subsequent **MULTISIG** portfolio, the keys being shared solely between **M3RL1N, GRUG, ARCHIMEDES, JUNKFOODPUNKROOT** (3:4) (2:3 if only 3 members persist). > Management methods**: The methods for opening up this **MULTISIG** to new entities will depend on subsequent discussions held publicly or through the **ODE** protocol. --- ### Revocation Conditions Revocation of access to a **MULTISIG** requires the agreement of **3:4** members of **THEORD** (2:3 if only 3 members persist). > **Extreme Cases**: In the less than desirable event of termination of access to the **MULTISIG** - an obviously harmful signal - the course of action remains under deliberation, but will occur conscientiously, deeply involving all segments of the community hitherto involved, near or far, in the constitution of **THEORD**. --- ### 3.2. Consequences of Non-Respect : Materialising the foundations of this constitution, deviation from or disregard of these principles will lead to the immediate exclusion of the member. Specifically, failure to respect the **100%** allocations of **OSHI BRC20 tokens minted free of charge** at the Multisig address indicated will result in exclusion from the new **MULTISIG** and immediate blacklisting during the migration process from **BRC20** to **OCV**. #### 3.4. Authority within THEORD - Authority is collectively maintained by the members associated in the constitution of THEORD. There is no leader, nor has there ever been one. #### 3.5. Duties - The members of THEORD MUST work towards a goal: in cooperation to promote the emergence of a solution WHOSE benefits for the common good NOBODY can correctly estimate. - The members humbly act as continuators and refuse any form of paternity over the underlying technical composition, which is currently experimental. - The members of THEORD maintain the hope of a coalition of individuals working eternally for the common good, and simply allowing MAN to master data and observation through a digital consensus.
